Il silenzio di Dio (blues)

“Dio tace, offeso dall’uomo”
Il primo verso lo dettò Papa Woytila,
sentendo il peso della storia
che non ricorda se stessa.
L’uomo ha un’amnesia gravissima,
non sa più chi è, quale fu il suo cammino,
non ha imparato nulla da ciò che ha fatto:
non ricorda le civiltà che ha costruito
e gli orrori in cui è incorso,
e da cui a suo tempo lo guarì
il riconoscimento della colpa.

Invisibili delicatissimi atomi
si uniscono in molecole,
queste in ulteriori associazioni
onde costruire il mondo inanimato
e da qui in avanti la vita.
Che Dio abbia dato una mano qua e là,
suggerimenti chimici per orientarli
nel labirinto delle incalcolabili possibilità
e arrivare finalmente all’uomo,
non c’è da dubitarne.

Dunque l’uomo nacque dall’atomo
guidato da una volontà cosmica
che intenzionava la vita
come suo vero scopo,
la vita, l’uomo che ride, l’uomo che parla
l’uomo che crea, che dipinge, che suona
l’uomo che inventa, che costruisce, che ama,
l’uomo che brama di non essere solo
nell’Universo che lo circonda:
questo volle il Principio della Vita,
per non essere lui stesso un Dio solo nel Cosmo
ma il padre d’una creatura
con cui popolare d’energia vivente
lo Spazio e il Tempo già indifferenziati.

Ora però ha scoperto con orrore
che l’uomo odia se stesso in nuce.
La sua creatura ha escogitato trucchi matematici
per ingannare atomi e molecole
e deviarli dal disegno universale,
trasformandoli in sicari spietati.
Per far questo elimina la storia,
tacita il pensiero, compra il silenzio di se stesso:
che tutto accada in perfetta usualità,
che non si mostri di far caso
alla vita che finisce in un boato.
Che Dio torni un’altra volta solo
nel Cosmo di pietra, di gas e di ghiaccio,
ferito per sempre dall’uomo
che col genio atomico ha violato
la sua suprema dignità di Creatore.

GOD’S SILENCE

“God is silent, disgusted by man”
Papa Woytila said the first verse
hearing the howl of the history
that doesn’t remember hitself.
Man has a serious amnesy,
he doesn’t know who he was anymore,
which was his way,
he doesn’t learn nothing
from what he did:
he doesn’t remember
the civilisation that he built,
and the horrors in which he felt
and from which, in the past,
the admission of the guilt
saved him.

Invisible soft atoms
unite into molecules,
these one in other associations
to build the lifeless world,
and then Life.
There is no doubt
that God sometimes intervened
giving chemical suggestions
to direct the process
in the labyrinth of the incalculable possibilities
to arrive finally to Man.

So Man was born from the atom
guided by a Cosmic Will
that wanted to reach Life
as its true aim:
Life, or Man that laughs,
Man that speaks,
Man that creates, paints, plays,
Man that invents, build, loves,
Man that doesn’t want
to be alone in the Universe
which is around him:
the Principle of Life wanted this
not to be himself
God alone in the Sideral Cold,
but the father of a creature
with which animate
the Space and Time indifferentiated
of living energy.

But now God has discovered with horror
that Man hates himself radically.
His creature devises mathematical tricks
to deceive atoms and molecules
and deviate them from Universal Project,
transforming them in terrible killers.
To do this Man eliminates history,
silences the Thought,
buys the silence of himself,
so that all happens in perfect normality
and nobody sees that Life
ends in a rumbling.
So God will come back alone again
in the Universe maid of stone, gas and ice,
forever wounded by Man
that with the atomic genius
has violated his Creator Supreme Dignity.
